Professional looking do-it-yourself business cards
Author: Robin BrowneWell, they have finally produced (or perhaps I have finally found) do-it-yourself business card that look great. I just made a card for my communications business, ConsciousImages, using Avery Clean Edge Business Cards that I bought at Staples for $21.
Here’s the result (the curved edges are from macro distortion on my camera):
The key thing is the “clean edge”. It is really clean. They somehow made these cards that can go through an inkjet printer without falling apart and then pop out clean as a whistle when you break them into individual cards.
So when someone trying to get you to pay for business cards tells you that homemade cards don’t look good – don’t believe the hype!
