Social media marketing best practices writing project
Author: Robin BrowneI’m finally getting around to adding my two cents to Mitch Joel’s social media marketing best practices writing project for which Mitch asked folks to:
- Blog about a social media marketing best practice
- Link to Mitch’s blog
- Tag it “social media marketing best practices”
- And then tag someone else with the meme
So my best practice is to break out of the social media fish bowl – and your comfort zone. Search out a conference or a meetup with people who don’t think, look or talk like you and find out how they’re using social media – and perhaps your products or services or ones like them. Then figure out how you can add value to those communities.
As for tagging this, that will have to wait until I have successfully installed the new version of Wordpress.
As for who I’ll tag that would be Michelle Sullivan and Kingston’s own podcasting drag queen, Tyffanie.
